London was calling! And there we went to the Volksworldshow. For me it was the first time, and it was a way cool weekend. Even if this year some really breathtaking showstoppers were missing out, the cars inside and outside of Sandown Park were more than impressive. The most impressive thing about the aircooled scene in the uk is in my opinion the dedication and effort that is put into the cars. Some might say they're crazy but I loved it.
Incredible metalflake paintwork on Joe Gallagher's THE STING. This Fiat 850 gasser was originally raced during the 70s and 80s in Texas and California, before it was restored in the uk.
Engine is a 2.5 litre type 4.
Some of the aluminium panels come from the famous Race Shop Fiat!
Very nice 1967 standard with an original ragtop. What you don't see it that the dashboard is completely equipped with period Empi gauges.
Real deal BRMs.
Impressive line-up of the newly founded Outlaw Flat Four, with two 10sec street cars!
Nice Stutt Bee inspired top chop.
I especially liked this one.
Richie Webbs street legal 10sec vert now rolling on Fuchs wheels.
This lowlight Ghia was one of my favourite cars at the show.
Perfect patina on the outside, while everything underneath was restored to show condition, including a hot 48IDA engine.
Nice work!
