The second (our fourteenth, actually) hot VWs Drag Day had been held sunday, September 8th at the Irwindale Raceway. Participants started in various categories such as 36hp, Kadron equipped, Quick 16 or the famous Der Renn Käfer Cup. Our man in So-Cal, LUFTKRAFT reporter Alex "Grand Sapin" Guerdat was there to capture the spirit of this legendary event. |
