From 2004 on, the GEZUVOR VW Club is organising three Cruise Nights every year. This plan already seems to work well as we hit a new record with 53 aircooled Volkswagens! Just have a quick look at the pictures and you'll realize that nobody seemed to be seriously impressed by the dark clouds above Fribourg. The GEZUVOR VW Club would like to thank everyone for spending that evening with us. We did have a great time with all of you!
Show your projects: GEZUVOR member Manuel aka James Dubiosi was more than happy to bring his not-yet-finished '52 splitwindow. The car has never been restored because it was sitting for two decades in a corner of a former Volkswagen dealership. The original paint is a bit faded but the interior is absolutely flawless. Note genuine Empi muffler.
Another one of the four GEZUVOR cars present at that evening. The new 1776 engine provides plenty of Fahrvergnügen, thanks to the precious help of Marcel "Dr.Engine" Hofstetter and Alain "VWirus" André. Thank you guys!
This beautiful Oval belongs to Patrick Panchaud and it is equipped with an 1835 engine, a pair of Neal disc brakes, some repro BRMs and a lowered front end.
Our long time Cruise Night tourists Gunnar and Norbert drove all the way down from Germany! After all these years, nothing special though...
Marcel Hofstetter jumped into the stunning '66 sedan owned by his wife Jenny to attend the Cruise Night. The unrestored car only has 40'000 kilometres on the clock.
With a new set of 40IDF Webers, Urs Beyeler had more fun than ever to drive his bug to Fribourg.
It won't be necessary to introduce this killer '55 panel, I guess.
Actually I never really understood those 181s, but this thing kicks ass. Looks like I'm getting too old for lowered front beams.
Restored some years ago by Andi Siegrist, this early notch still looks awesome.
It's always a surprise which car Jerome choses to get to the meeting. This time he decided for his smooth 2 litre type 4 sedan.
